Students following the pre-law track intend to pursue admission to a Juris Doctor (JD) program after their undergraduate studies. Most Juris Doctor programs are three years in length. Undergraduate Recommendations

In most situations, a bachelor’s degree is required for admission to a law school. Students can complete their bachelor’s degree in any major. In addition, there are no prerequisite courses for law school. Taking courses that strengthen your reading, writing, and critical thinking skills may be helpful in preparing for the law school curriculum.

Creighton 3-3 Program

Creighton University offers its undergraduate students an opportunity to earn a combined bachelor’s degree and law degree in six years. You’ll spend three years on the requirements for a bachelor’s degree in the College of Arts and Sciences or the Heider College of Business and three years on requirements for a law degree.
