Undergraduate Recommendations
In most situations, a bachelor’s degree is required for admission to a law school. Students can complete their bachelor’s degree in any major. In addition, there are no prerequisite courses for law school. Taking courses that strengthen your reading, writing, and critical thinking skills may be helpful in preparing for the law school curriculum.
Please review the helpful resources in the Modules tab to learn more about recommendations for pre-law students.
Creighton 3-3 Program
Creighton University offers its undergraduate students an opportunity to earn a combined bachelor’s degree and law degree in six years. You’ll spend three years on the requirements for a bachelor’s degree in the College of Arts and Sciences or the Heider College of Business and three years on requirements for a law degree.

One additional way to explore the legal profession is to visit area law schools. Law schools often invite prospective students to observe a law class, meet with current law students, and visit with law professors. Take advantage of the fact that you have a law school right on our campus!
